Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create a trip?

Tap the + button on the Trips tab. Enter a trip name, start date, and optional end date. You can add a cover photo and start adding activities immediately.

How do I share a trip with others?

Open a trip, go to the Members tab, and tap Share Trip. This uses iCloud sharing — everyone you invite needs an iCloud account. You can set participants as Editors (can add/edit) or Viewers (read-only).

How do I add activities?

Inside a trip, tap the + button in the timeline. Choose an activity type (Flight, Train, Lodging, Place, or Generic) and fill in the details. Activities with dates appear on the timeline; activities without dates go to your Wishlist.

How do expenses work?

Go to the Expenses tab within a trip. Add who paid and how the cost should be split. Jurni calculates net balances and shows the simplest way for everyone to settle up.

How do polls work?

Go to the Polls tab, create a question with options, and optionally set a deadline. Trip members can vote, and you'll get a reminder before the deadline closes.

Where are my documents stored?

Documents are stored locally on your device and sync via iCloud. Tap the Documents tab in any trip to import photos, scan documents with your camera, or import PDFs.

Can I use Jurni offline?

Yes. All your trip data, documents, and QR codes are stored locally. You can access everything without an internet connection. Changes sync automatically when you're back online.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings and tap Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile and authentication data. To remove trip data from iCloud, go to your device Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud and disable Jurni.

Does Jurni work on iPad or Mac?

Jurni is currently designed for iPhone. iPad and Mac support may come in future updates.

Does Jurni cost anything?

Jurni is free to download. Some features may require an optional paid upgrade in the future. There are no ads.
